SERIOUSLY, Josh and Addison could not be any cuter. These Abilene engagement pictures turned out to be so playful and fun! There was tall grass and weeds everywhere, which was beautiful but kind of scary. We took turns taking the lead, afraid to find a snake or some other horrible creature haha!
I seriously was obsessing over her clothes!! The rust/burnt orange pants were PERFECT. For one, that is like my favorite color to photograph and just look at in general (hello, have you seen my website?). Two, it complimented the golden grass we were in so well! And lastly, her pants were corduroy, which gave off an amazing texture! I always tell my couples in the styling guide I send off before their session that texture is so important! Things like leather, corduroy, ripped jeans, etc. It adds a whole new level of feeling to the photographs.
I could tell both Addison and Josh were a little skeptical at the things I was directing them to do, but boy, did it make us all laugh! They let loose and trusted me, and it payed off so much! Josh actually said he doesn’t like to smile a lot, which I find SHOCKING. In almost all of these pictures his smile is so big! And I love it. I know it feels awkward being in front of a camera at first, which is why it’s always my goal to actually have a fun time! And if you do, the pictures will show that.
So please take a look at these super fun engagement pictures we took in Abilene! Get ready to be stunned by Addison’s eyes, hop on a new tab to buy pants like those corduroy gems, and reach out to me to book your session so you can have adorable pictures with you and your boo like these ;P
While you’re here, check out the last few couple’s sessions I’ve photographed!
