A little about me.

My parents grew up in Cairo, Egypt, and moved to America in their late 20's-early 30's. Education was always a priority to them, so I did what was expected. I fell in love with the subject of Psychology, but didn't realize that I wasn't meant to be a therapist until I had already finished my master's in Counseling Psychology. Convenient timing, right? Even though my education isn't directly related to my career, it plays a huge role in my work as a wedding photographer. That background allows me to draw out that human connection and bring it to life in a photograph.

I've been married to the tallest guy on earth (not really, but he's about a foot and a half taller than me) for almost four years! We met at a camp, he said he liked me, I said thank you, and the rest is HISTORY. Jk, it's actually a much longer story.

We have two dogs, Piper and Maisie. Our world revolves around those two. You can mostly catch me lounging around  in sweatpants with them while I watch the same TV shows over and over again (Friends, New Girl, all the goods).
I love traveling, duh, but other than seeing cool new places, I'm a homebody at heart.

I am a Dallas wedding photographer and have been photographing weddings for 3 years now! I've loved every minute of this service-based career.

Here are five fun facts about me!

I love a nice cold McDonald's Coke with light ice. I hate heavy ice, because then it melts and is just watered-down Coke and that is GROSS.

I didn't read the Harry Potter series until I was 25 years old (I know, I was very late to the wizarding world), but I am OBSESSED with it now.

I'm a four on the enneagram! I LOVE talking personality types. Basically what you need to know about mine is that I like sad movies, it's important for me to live authentically, and I can be quite sassy ;)

My friends from college and I pull together a very elaborate (and embarrassing) reunion every year. We make t-shirts and other merchandise and travel to cool places. It's a little much, but like in a cool way?

My guilty pleasure TV is the Bachelor/Bachelorette. Let's be real, I don't feel that guilty about it. When in season, Monday nights are my FAVE.
