Fun Austin Couples Session | Austin TX Wedding Photographer | Noah + Allena

Ok no joke this couples session was so fun and active! Noah and Allena are a couple of my closest friends and have seriously made living in Abilene so much better! They’ve opened their homes to us countless times. We’ve watched so much Game of Thrones and This is Us together, shared a bunch of drinks at the Mill together, and we’ve had so many good, honest conversations. I love these two so much, and am beyond grateful to know them, so this session was the most fun ever!

Noah and Allena balance each other out more than any other couple I know! Noah is so structured, does everything he can to do what is right, while Allena pretty much couldn’t care less about rules (their relationship looks so much like mine and Jake’s!). They’re free-spirited, and so caring and loving to their community. I got to know them because they host a small group through our church every week, and they create such an honest and welcoming environment, because they’re more than willing to share their baggage. I’m all about authenticity and vulnerability, and these two model it so well.

I think these photos represent their relationship so well. We pretty much just ran around together and they were just cracking me up. Honestly, there’s so many more boob and butt grabs that I didn’t even include in this blog post, cause well, it’s not for everyone. But I love how much these two embrace each other and life and are more than willing to goof off and be silly with me!

As goofy and fun as this couples session was, it also gets a little personal. Keep scrolling, you’ll get there 😉

Okay, and if you’ve made it this far (which I’m so glad you did, because hi they are cute), here’s something else we can talk about. It’s personal, taboo, probably a weird business decision on my part, but I’m all about being honest and showing you all who I am. When I was first getting to know Noah and Allena a year ago, we went out for some drinks and I was wearing a t-shirt that said “Porn Kills Love”. It usually get’s some head-turners and people just asking, “Uh, does your shirt say porn?” Yep, it does. But Noah and Allena opened up a super real conversation with me about it and how against the industry they are as well. We talked so long about how pornography screws up our brains, leads to sex trafficking, and is destroying relationships all across the country (and world). It’s a topic I care about, and they care about just as deeply. I talked to them about the website I found the t-shirts, which is also an amazing site that is committed to education people about the awful porn industry. Check it out!
