I had such a blast capturing Suzette and Oscar’s sunrise engagement photos in Austin, Texas.
There is something just so special about sunrise sessions, especially in the summertime! It was super humid, and I had to keep wiping off the fog on my camera! Suzette and Oscar made the most of the sticky weather, though. We took these engagement photos in one of the downtown parks in Austin, Texas and it was so perfect! For the first 30 minutes or so, there was really no one around. We had the whole place to ourselves! Then, all the early-rise runners and bikers joined us, but we were still able to find some privacy.
My favorite part of these Austin Texas engagement photos is the city skyline over the river.
The way the light hits the buildings was just so perfect, and made Oscar and Suzette glow!
I know Suzette and Oscar were actually so nervous about this session leading up to it. Most of my couples are nervous because they’ve never taken professional photos before, and they don’t know what to expect! And trust me, EVERYONE says they are awkward. But once we got started, I played some music and directed them to do absolutely ridiculous things. It didn’t take long for their guards to come down.
You can just tell by their smiles that these two love each other so deeply.
They have fun together and feel completely comfortable with one another, and it shows through every photo.
Their wedding was soon after this session, and I can’t wait to share that beautiful day with you guys! The biggest reason engagement sessions are complimentary in my second and third wedding packages is because it really helps my couples and me get comfortable with each other. We got to spend great time together during these sunrise engagement photos in Austin Texas, that it felt like we were friends for forever by the time I showed up to their wedding!
