Finally in the late summer, they were able to celebrate and have their Austin TX wedding with their closest friends and family. It started off at a really cool Airbnb in downtown Austin where the bride and groom were getting ready with their wedding party. It was such a loving atmosphere, and everyone was so excited to celebrate Katherine and JT. From there, we headed off in a party bus to their ceremony at Chapel Dulcinea.
Even though it was hot, it was seriously such a beautiful day. Everybody was so calm and joyful once it got to the ceremony, and that’s what I love about intimate weddings. They are usually much less stressful, and I get to see the couple really enjoy their day and their time with the people they love. It’s a little more difficult for a couple to do that with bigger weddings sometimes. After the ceremony, we took all the portraits and hopped on the bus for the next stop: the reception!
A few people shared their toasts, and they were all so moving. I could tell how dearly loved and supported JT and Katherine were by their friends and family. I felt so honored to be at the table with them, too! They had their first dance, ate cake, and spent the rest of the time just hanging out. We hopped on the bus again where the party really began. After the ceremony and dinner, I feel like Katherine and JT were really able to let loose. They danced, JT basically stripped, and it was all just a blast! I had so much fun with these two, and feel like they truly became friends of mine.
