This engagement session in Boerne, TX was absolutely INCREDIBLE. Marci and Travis met me at Joshua Springs Park (kind of by Comfort, TX), and it was a warm, cloudy day. I was amazed at how comfortable they both were in front of the camera and how quickly and naturally they just interacted. Their fifth year dating anniversary will be on the day of their wedding this December (how cool is that??)! When you are around these two, there is no doubt to how much they love one another.

As soon as we started shooting, Travis and Marci just went right into dancing and laughing. My heart just fluttered looking at their connection through my lens. Not only were they super sweet and loving, they were a lot of fun! I am always so appreciative of human beings that laugh easily and enjoy life. They both have such care-free spirits and laughed the majority of the evening, and it was the BEST. You can tell in the way they are planning their wedding that it is more about celebrating their relationship and their marriage rather than all the little details that don’t end up mattering. I admire that so much because it’s super easy to get lost in the wedding planning expectations! Marci and Travis remember that it’s all about the celebration of the special love they share. And I can’t wait to see and capture how the day unfolds in December!

Joshua Springs Park was also such a pretty place to have our session. None of us had been there before but it did not disappoint! The water, the trees, and the hills gave me all the goosebumps (it doesn’t take much when you live in such a place like Abilene). And Marci and Travis just topped it all off with their genuine connection, fun attitudes, and…can we just appreciate that rockin’ red lipstick??? YES. Marci and Travis, thanks for showing me such a good time! I seriously am so excited for December 28th!
