I’m so excited to finally share some of the images from this styled elopement. I got to join eight other amazing photographers from around the country, and shoot in one of our dream locations! The White Sands National Monument in New Mexico was INCREDIBLE. The sand went on forever, and the skies gave us so many colors, and the mountains made my heart flutter. One of the things I love about being a wedding photographer is the travel. I love living in Abilene, TX, but this world has so much to offer. How lucky am I to live in a cute town with wonderful people, but still get to see the most gorgeous places for my job? I’m unbelievably grateful. And to those of you that are just starting to  think about wedding planning, maybe you should consider eloping in an amazing location like this one and have the most beautiful photographs you could ever imagine! It’s always fun to think outside the box.

I care about what I do so much, so I will always invest in it. This was a chance for me to invest in doing what I love, to learn from other creatives, to grow as a photographer, and honestly to have a heck of a lot of fun. Andrea Godfrey and Stephanie Wood (owners of Wedding Travelers Co.) put an amazing event together for us. Everything about this day was a dream! The florals, the cake, the wedding gowns, the genuine laughter, and the incredible scenery. Not to mention, Chelsea and Cody were kind of amazing in front of the camera. And by “kind of amazing”, I mean I couldn’t pick my jaw up off the floor. Scroll down, and watch the story unfold.
