Are you ready to look at the sweetest engagement photos? Danley and Sean were such a joy to photograph here in Abilene, TX. It was my first time meeting them, and they’re a little new to the Abilene area! Just after a couple minutes, I could tell they were just the kindest couple. They’re gentle and loving in the way they interact with each other, but also know how to have a heck of a lot of fun! We went to the Dr. Seuss Park by the Grace Museum, which is one of my favorite spots because it has that beautiful greenery along the walls. One thing I must commend these two for is their outfit choices. Seriously, they killed it! They coordinated so well with each other, creating contrasting colors and patterns. No worries, I’ll write a blog about what to wear to your engagement sessions soon enough, but for now I give my couples a custom styling guide! And alas, Danley and Sean knew exactly what to do with my advice.

In addition to being fashionable rockstars, Danley and Sean were just so great to work with. Sometimes people can initially feel camera shy or just vulnerable letting a stranger capturing them being all lovey-dovey (which is understandable). BUT they owned it and were so comfortable with me. They just snuggled and laughed together, and I got to see their connection and relationship come to life through film.

Next, we went to a little field on the side of the road. When you live in Abilene, you have to get a little creative when it comes to your locations. We do have those beautiful, glorious sunsets, so I just go any place where those colors and golden light can shine through! As you can see, the golden hour did not disappoint. You can even make out the good ole Abilene skyline (LOL).  When my couples wear more casual clothes, I love to get all the pick-me-ups. Piggy back rides, sneak attacks, and all. For one, it’s super fun and it never goes without laughter. Two, you can spin around and create beautiful hair-flowing movement that creates such a dreamy look. With a field, tall grass, a beautiful sunset, greenery, and a super in love and beautiful couple, I couldn’t have asked for more. This session was perfect! Congrats to you, Danley and Sean. So happy for you two!
