I cannot get enough of the California desert, so shooting an elopement there in Joshua Tree was a dream come true! I am seriously drooling over every photo of Danielle and Jimmy EVER. These two could not do wrong in front of the camera. There is such an unspoken connection and romance between these two, it’s hard to even put words to it. Luckily, we have pictures, right?? Honestly though, I’m so grateful for my time in California. Yes, the landscapes and parks were amazing to see. Still, the best part about my trip was meeting all of these insanely kind, wonderful people.
I’m telling you, you committing to your significant other for life does NOT have to break your bank. Danielle’s gorgeous dress is from Lulu’s and is only $100! Getting married in a park is like 10 times less expensive than a venue. Plus, no guests means no expensive mouths to feed! Really, it’s up to you and what is important to you on your big day. But, just know there are ways to have an amazing experience with your future spouse without all the stress and financial constraints.
Keep looking through all of the photos, and at the end you’ll just see some individual bridal portraits of her. My goodness, they stop me right in my tracks! She has such a peaceful and natural beauty, and I promise you the inside matches the outside. This girl just radiates positive energy and kindness! So, I’m not lying when I say the best part about my trip was the people! I love meeting other human beings like her, to remind me of what is important in life and how to love others.
Alas, this will be my last blog from California for a little bit, because I have some amazing shoots and weddings right here in Texas! BUT, if you’re interested in a destination wedding or couple’s session, I AM IN. Let’s chat!
While you’re here, check out the other shoots I’ve done in Joshua Tree!
Awesome pictures, love the colors and the light! Congratulations!
