First off, I LOVE venues with white walls. I don’t know a photographer who doesn’t. It bounces off light beautifully, and it gives couples an opportunity to really bring their vision to life. The white walls leave a blank slate for couples to add their pop up color and decor that make their wedding completely unique to them! This venue is also so spacious, it was a dream for everyone to get ready in. A lot of times wedding venues have really small and dark getting ready spaces that make it near impossible for everyone around. But at the Emerson Wedding venue, there is a big open space for one partner and their party to get ready. That is where Samantha and her bridesmaids prepared, and it was amazing! We were able to scoot all of the clutter over into the closet area. That way we could really utilize the gorgeous, naturally-lit room for the getting ready photos!
Then, there is a cute black cabin where Tony and the rest of the guys got ready. This was a little bit of a tighter space, but worked perfectly for the guys. It was also so nice for it to be away from Samantha and the girls so that way there were no accidental peeks before the ceremony!
They are both so goofy, and I am so drawn to that. They laugh so much together, and I feel like that is the key to any happy relationship. You can see more of their laughs and goofiness at their engagement session here. After getting introduced to each other by their best friends on THEIR wedding day, this day was such an event to celebrate. The day started off slow and calm, with no stress in the air. My favorite part of the day was when Samantha and Tony finally saw each other across the isle. It was emotional for so many! Samantha was in tears, and Tony just looked so content. The sweetest moment was the look of pride and joy on Samantha’s mother’s face. She was the one to walk Samantha down the isle, and it was such a meaningful moment.
I of course need to draw attention to Samantha’s outfit change. After the special dances, she changed into this gorgeous glittery dress with strawberries on it! It was so unique and had Samantha written all over it. The rest of the evening just flew by with the best dancing. I seriously can’t get enough of this black and white affair at the Emerson Wedding Venue! This wedding was also incredible thanks to the amazing team involved, so be sure to check out the vendor list at the bottom!
