Enchanted Rock Engagement Photos at Sunset | Maisie + Nathan
All the jumping up and down excitement for another engagement session at Enchanted Rock!! I love this place so much because it makes me feel so SMALL. And all the best places do that, right? Enchanted Rock is right outside Austin and Fredricksburg, and offers quite a few trails and camping areas for us adventurous folks that are stuck in this ginormous state. The rock formations are so big, and you can see views for miles and miles. Each time I’ve been there, the sunsets have been absolutely incredible! It was actually raining on and off this entire day, so I was prepared for some cloudy and muggy weather. Luckily, the clouds started to part for us, and showed off a beautiful sky!
Maisie and Nathan were such a great couple for this shoot at Enchanted Rock. They were so casual and carefree. So many times throughout the shoot, we just stopped to enjoy the scenery. Everything looked so magnificent, we couldn’t help but just take it all in. Maisie and Nathan have been together since college, and have had all their important moments take place on one date: October 27th. That’s when they started dating, that’s when Nathan proposed, and that is when they will be getting married in front of their 50 closest friends and family. They decided to keep it really small because they wanted to truly know every person there, and know those people will always be in their lives. I can’t wait to capture their wedding because it will be so intimate and personal, and I’m ALL about that.
I can’t forget to mention that these two brought their sweet lil pup, Penny Lane. She was the most chill dog that just wanted to do her own thing, and I loved it. Please, friends, remember that your dogs are always welcome to sessions and weddings with me. I promise I won’t give them too much attention 😉
