Danielle and Jimmy were so lovey-dovey and playful, and they were just perfect for this desert engagement shoot at Joshua Tree! That red dress Danielle wore was absolute FIRE, and both of them can rock a pretty amazing smolder. Most of all, I’m just grateful for couples that don’t take life too seriously. You can tell these two are just so comfortable in their own skin and are really enjoying the opportunities life gives them. They travel a bunch, and take on life with so much positivity! They’re getting married so soon, and I’m so pumped for them! Also, just look at them? Like how are they both so dang attractive? They don’t even look freaking real!
Pretty much anywhere you pull over, it is absolutely beautiful. You definitely feel the desert there! It was hot, dry, and the plants and trees were truly incredible. The rock formations looked so dang cool, and I loved the shadows they cast in the direct sunlight. The sky was so blue, and I can just feel the warmth this place gave off by just looking at the photos! Joshua Tree is truly a park that inspired my creativity and pushed me to think outside the box in the photos I captured.
I got to try something new during this shoot…a gif! I had so much fun messing around with this in photoshop, and I can’t wait to keep playing around with future shoots to come. I’ve always loved creating movement in my photographs, so why not ACTUALLY CREATE MOVEMENT? Be forewarned, the quality is lower here than in real life in order to fit in my blog. But this Joshua Tree engagement shoot was the perfect opportunity to try something new. I seriously can’t wait to start doing gifs more with my couples, though!
Are you wanting to do a fun engagement or couples shoot? Now is the time! Hit me up, and let’s celebrate your love together.

What beautiful photos. I am so in love with her dress, I want one just like it or the exact one for my engagement photos. Do you know where she got it from? Thank you!
Amazing work & lovely editing. Congratulations!
