Guys, I have so much to say about this adventurous waterfall couple’s session in Kauai! Abigail and I found each other over Instagram, and she invited my friends and I on a crazy adventurous hike with her and her boyfriend while we were visiting in Hawaii. The hike was CRAZY. I mean, seriously, Kauai is the most amazing place ever with so much beauty. Beaches, mountains, waterfalls. We ended up going through a bamboo forest, hopping rocks over the river (I won’t disclose how many times I tripped because I couldn’t keep count to save my life), and climbed through all these wild tree branches. I’m so thankful to find couples that are down for adventure! We finally reached this gorgeous secluded waterfall, and it was so beautiful. There were only a couple of people there at first, but they left quickly after we arrived so we had the entire place to ourselves. We explored the space together, and took a quick dip in the freezing water. As cold as it was, it was so so refreshing after our long hike. These two were so generous and were basically the best tour guides ever haha. Taylor may have suffered a minor head injury on our way back down, but anything for the shot right? They took us out for fantastic burgers after we got back, and I don’t think anything ever tasted so good! What I remember most from this day (other than the newfound scrapes and bruises) were the conversations. We talked about how we grew up, the crazy idea of shame and how it effects us, and our belief systems. These two are kind, accepting, and a freaking joy to be around! I’m so grateful for this day, and for Instagram bringing us together! Take a look at how freaking adorable they are.
