This Lajitas Golf Resort Wedding in Terlingua, TX had all the edgy, boho vibes.

There are so many reasons why this Lajitas Golf Resort wedding is so special. The decor, the views, the COUPLE. This day just could not have been more beautiful. Shelby and Ryan booked me almost a year before their wedding, so we had been waiting for this day for so long! When it finally came, it did not disappoint.

This wedding was far from traditional, which was exactly how Shelby and Ryan wanted it.

Shelby strayed from the traditional white dress to a gorgeous, flowy blue dress. It was gorgeous, and absolutely perfect on her! Speaking of dresses and straying from traditions, Ryan also had seen the dress before the wedding day. Honestly, I just love when couples think twice about how things are “supposed” to be done, and instead do what is right for them on their big day. Instead of inviting 150 people, they intentionally chose around 50 guests that they love dearly.

There was an edgy bohemian vibe to this wedding in the mountains.

Jordan Events Co. did an AMAZING job at bringing Shelby and Ryan’s vision to life at their Lajitas Golf Resort wedding. My personal favorite piece was the Persian rugs that were placed down the aisle. There were gorgeous dark florals all around and decorative skulls. What I love so much about their wedding was that it didn’t specific mold. It just brought in all the different pieces of who Shelby and Ryan are and somehow worked! The other BEST part about their wedding ceremony was that they played the music to Game of Thrones. As soon as I heard the beginning of the Rains of Castamere, I almost screamed!

The reception is where the real party began.

I’m not going to lie, I kind of thought with such a small group, the dance floor was going to be less than lively. But, boy, was I wrong. These people knew how to party! There were grandmas getting down, couples drinking and swinging. It was a a total blast, and what made me the most happy was seeing how much fun Shelby and Ryan were having!

I love these two so much. We bonded early on over our love for Game of Thrones, Subaru Outbacks, mustard yellow sweaters, and about a dozen other things. This day was so anticipated and it didn’t disappoint. I’m so happy for these two!
