This Palm Springs photoshoot was so incredible.

Honestly, this Palm Springs photoshoot was totally different than my normal style. I’m usually in a park somewhere with a rather casual couple. However, Alyssa and Nolan were so different. They were more editorial and formal than my usual photoshoot. AND I LOVED IT. It’s so good for me as a photographer to capture completely different couples and really challenge myself to bring their personalities and style through the photos.

Really, Alyssa and Nolan were just fashion heroes.

I mean their style was so fun. The vintage silk polka dots, with the all black? So cute. And I loved playing with the sunglasses throughout the shoot! Their outfits brought such a cool vibe to our Palm Springs photoshoot. In the styling guide I send off, I always encourage my couples to really bring their style to life. Not something you would never wear but you were told looks good on Pinterest. These two really brought in their vibes, and that helped their photos reflect them so well!

Now, can we just talk about how amazing Palm Springs is?

I really only spent a few days there last month, but I’m already planning my next trips out to this sweet spot in Southern California. It gave me all the carefree vacation vibes, and I loved all the gorgeous plants and flowers this place had. Houses and buildings are so aesthetically pleasing, and the mountains are the most beautiful backdrop. I can’t wait to make it back to this sweet place!

Lastly, I want to bring one more thing to attention…

Does Alyssa remind you of anyone? The Mother of Dragons maybe? When I was editing these photos, I could not get over how much she looks like Emilia Clarke! That silver white hair and those beautifully thick eyebrows! I told Alyssa this, and she said that is literally her goal in life. Well done, right? Hope you Game of Thrones fans can appreciate that.
