Brittany had reached out to me just a month or so before their Palo Duro Canyon wedding. Since Covid-19 required a lot of my couples to reschedule their weddings, I was totally free to capture these two eloping in the canyon. It was such a magnificent place, and I had so much exploring the area with these two.
The gorgeous red rock was just mesmerizing to me. It reminded me of my time in Sedona, AZ or even Moab, UT. I had no idea such a gorgeous place existed in Texas!! The cave provided a relieving cool shade to the high summer sun, and we got breathtaking backlit photos from it!!
The rock they stood on to say their I Do’s was such an amazing lookout to the views of the canyon. The ceremony was short and sweet so family could head back to the AirBnb and celebrate! It was such an intimate, chill, and laidback day. It made me wonder why more people didn’t have their wedding like this! There was absolutely NO STRESS, and it really just felt like a celebration. That is what it’s meant to be, people!
If you are getting married, don’t hesitate to reach out! 2021 is booking up so fast, and I’d love to talk!
While you’re here, check out the last few elopements I’ve photographed!
