This was the perfect kickstart to wedding season, and I honestly was smiling so big the entire day. The weather forecast predicted 90% chance of rain, and let’s just say it wasn’t wrong. It was a dreary, warm, and wet afternoon, but that did not turn down the excitement level for the big day.
Lauren and Rob’s family friends own the place, so it was special for them to get married at their property. Not to mention, the white exterior and beautiful greenery created such crazy gorgeous photos. Lauren and Rob planned to have the ceremony outside, and they were hoping for it until the very last minute. Legitimately, the ONLY time it actually rained was during the time of the ceremony! So they held it inside, and it was still perfect! Then, thankfully, the rain cleared up for all of our portraits.
I asked Lauren what she recalls as the most emotional moment from the day, and her and I both agree. It was when she was walking down the aisle. Rob was already struggling to hold it together when their daughter, Noelle, was carried down the aisle. But he totally lost control after seeing Lauren. He was sobbing, and she was literally laughing with glee. During moments like these, my heart seriously swells up and I can’t wipe the smile from my face. These two have been through so much together. From college life to having a baby girl, finding jobs, and planning a wedding, they’ve endured so much transition. And I’m sure Rob just couldn’t help thinking how happy was to finally have Lauren as his wife. It was so special, and those photos will always be some of my favorites from this wedding!
The ceremony was beautiful, sentimental, emotional, and the absolute sweetest. Then, when the reception rolled around, the party got STARTED. Fireball shots, cake in the face, epic dancing, and margaritas for days. It was unforgettable and never-ending. (For real though, we did a fake exit so they could keep partying LOL). This day was so perfect, and Lauren and Rob are seriously made for each other. I can’t wait to see them tackle on marriage just like they tackled parenthood with their sweet girl!
I’m so happy for them. Take a look at the best day ever, and the vendor list is at the bottom!
If getting married, HIT ME UP! I want to capture the pretty, the ugly, the emotional, and the fireball shots!
