It’s about time I share this super fun wedding anniversary session at one of Abilene’s new venues, Sabrina Cedars! Seriously, I’m so thankful for this new space in Abilene. It is exactly what we needed! How did we not have a gorgeous white barn venue in the area before?? I’ve known Ashley (the owner of Sabrina Cedars) for a few years now, and once she opened up this place we were so excited to collaborate! And who better than my two good friends to get back in their wedding gear almost exactly a year after their wedding day? Cayla and Chistow are probably the kindest people you will ever meet. Cayla is so wise (I go to her for advice quite often), and you can’t go anywhere with Chistow without him knowing half of the room. They’re so loved by this community and ME. Jake and I are super lucky to have them as couple friends.

So we’d been planning to do this shoot for a while, but Texas weather kicked our butts yet again and we had to shift it around a little bit. Since we changed the day, we no longer had a hair and makeup artist so I did Cayla’s hair and makeup. That’s right brides, you can pretty much contact me for all your wedding needs (jk but I have lots of vendor recommendations hahaha). As we were getting ready to leave, we decided last minute to bring Cayla and Chistow’s dog child, Harper, which was pretty much the best decision ever! I mean any chance I have to get couples and their fur babies, I will take it. This session was so fun and carefree, and just got in the best mood to embark on my crazy wedding season that December was for me!
