Summery Sekrit Theater Engagement Session in Austin, TX
I had such a blast with Crystal and Erik at their Sekrit Theater engagement session.
What made this Sekrit Theater engagement session in Austin so great was that these two really made it their own.
Erik works on motorcycles for a living, so he brought it to our session! It was so fun to capture them in their comfort zone. I always encourage couples to bring in personal elements to their engagement sessions. That could be your fur babies, pizza, or in this case – motorcycles. This way, Crystal and Erik can feel like they have photos that totally represent them as a couple.
Crystal and Erik were also just such a sweet couple to get to know!
Crystal works at Kendra Scott, and actually brought me like three pieces of jewelry just because.
I was actually shocked, it was such a kind gesture. You can just tell these two are so happy together, and really bring out the best in one another. They danced around the Sekrit Theater and laughed a bunch. They kept happy attitudes even when were getting eaten to death by mosquitos! Note to self: if you come to this place in the middle of the summer – bring bug spray!
The Sekrit Theater in Austin is such a magical setting for an engagement session.
My last session I did at the Sekrit Theater was in the dead of winter, so it was really fun to come back and see all the greenery in full bloom.
While it brought more mosquitos, it brought so much more color and energy to the photos! It was such a gorgeous sight to see all the plants surrounding the unique little greenhouse. Definitely one of my favorite spots to shoot engagement photos in Austin, TX!
We ended this Sekrit Theater engagement session with some time in the streets with Erik’s motorcycle.
The sun was setting over the streets so perfectly, and it was a fun and easygoing way to end the session.
I had so much fun with these two, and they actually reached out to me after their session to hire me for their wedding in Las Vegas! Crystal said she’d much rather pay more to fly in a photographer she trusts than hire someone from Las Vegas, and I was so honored. I can’t wait to capture their big day in March!
