Oh my GOOOOODNESS, this engagement session at The Acre Abilene was sooo gorgeous with all the outdoorsy farmhouse vibes. Lauren and Alex were such a fun couple to hang with. Lauren kept mentioning how nervous she was and how she thinks she’s awkward in photos. As soon as you start scrolling through these, you’ll know just how false that is! She looked so stunning, so can we just imagine how she’s going to look as a freaking bride?

This evening was so gorgeous. It was like 70 degrees and the sun was shining so bright. As it started to set, all my favorite oranges and yellows were showing up, and I was living for it! The Acre is such a gorgeous spot for a sunset session, too. It has so such a wide open space and with tons of variety! You can either embrace the outdoors in the field or enjoy the porch at the gorgeous farmhouse. Or go play on the tire swing like we did, haha! Clearly, these two knew how to have a good time.

Lauren and Alex have so much going on right now. Not only are they planning a wedding, but in the midst of all that craziness, they’re expecting a sweet little baby! TALK ABOUT TRANSITION. I’m so excited for these two and the life they are building. When you spend time with them, you know they can tackle anything together. Just look at the way they look at each other!! SO CUTE. Their baby is coming in July, and their super cute boho wedding will be in October. So stoked for them!!
