Your girl over here never wakes up early enough to see the sunrise. However, after this downtown urban session in Abilene, I might just be a morning person! We were originally supposed to do this engagement session the night before, but with Rob’s crazy work schedule, it turned out better to do sunrise the next day. And MAN, it was so worth the early morning rise. The sun was rising so bright, and we hung out by the area around The Mill for those urban downtown vibes. The photos by the rusty staircase we found are so beautiful to me, because the sun peaks through just right! I love finding things that are “not so pretty” and creating gorgeous photos!
Lauren and Rob were such troopers for not only waking up so early for me, but for looking THIS cute while their sweet baby, Noella, was crying by me. I’m not much of a baby whisperer, and poor Noella really wanted the attention of her parents. I loved seeing the way these two parent their little girl, while still loving each other so well. They interacted with one another in such a sweet, gentle manner, and the sunrise just added more beauty to this gorgeous couple.
I can’t wait for their wedding literally NEXT MONTH. It was so fun hanging around The Mill with Lauren and Rob, because apparently she reached out to after seeing one of the weddings I did there! So we’ve come full circle now, and I am so unbelievably pumped to capture their wedding next month. These two were made for each other if you can’t already tell through their adorable pictures!
If you are interested in a sunrise couple’s session, I’m telling you, it’s more than worth it! Let’s hang out and get coffee afterwards!
While you’re here, check out the last few engagement sessions I’ve done!
