This wedding at the Western Sky Wedding and Event Venue in San Antonio, TX was the perfect start to a new month. On July 1st, I had the privilege and honor of capturing Nicole and Josh finally get married! These two are seriously the most loving, kind, and selfless human beings and I loved getting to be a part of a day that was about THEM.

I’ve known ABOUT Nicole for years now, but I didn’t know her personally until she asked me to photograph her wedding. We both worked in residence life at ACU, and I heard over and over how this Nicole girl was the epitome of kindness. Basically, when her name was mentioned there was always an affectionate, “Awe I love her!” — EVERY TIME. People would say how sweet she was, and not in a generic ‘I can’t think of any other adjectives’ way, but in a way that left a lasting impression. So then I got to know her a little bit once we started talking wedding stuff and I took their engagements, and man was everyone so right! Nicole is without a doubt, kind, sweet, loving, and just a positive person to be around. We were getting ready for HER WEDDING DAY, and she asked ME about my plans to move and switch to photography full time. Like I’m sorry, aren’t you busy thinking about other stuff right now? Josh is no different and treats Nicole and everyone else he encounters with love and genuineness. I was seriously so honored to be a part of their day.

If you didn’t already believe me in just how loved these two are, take a look at their wedding party. They have so many people that adore, care, and support them and their marriage. Everybody that was a part of this day made it so incredibly fun and unforgettable.

Josh, Nicole, and I also snuck away from the reception to capture some gorgeous sunset photos. I seriously recommend this to anyone getting married because it was such a sweet time. Another thing I love about this couple is that they have a huge height difference just like my husband and I do! It made for lots of laughs, and Josh having to squat/bend down a bunch. Nicole and Josh, I’m so happy for you both and can’t wait to see how marriage treats you! Thank you for treating me so well, like you do everyone else.
